Use the site and the app for what they're for: tracking a habit and reading general information. Nothing here is medical advice, and the free tools show you what published research says — they don't tell you what to do. We built this carefully, but we can't promise perfection, and our liability to you is limited. If you don't agree with these terms, don't use the site or the app.
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and WristSkill Labs, LLC ("we", "us"). They cover:
By using the site or the app, you agree to these terms.
The app and the site are for general informational, educational, and entertainment purposes only. They do not provide medical, nutritional, or dietetic advice; they are not a medical device; and they do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition. Nothing on the site or in the app is a personalized recommendation or a prescription.
Talk to a physician, dietitian, or other qualified health provider before changing your diet. That matters most if you have a medical condition — including kidney or liver disease — are pregnant or nursing, have a history of disordered eating, or are under 18.
Neither the site nor the app recommends a protein amount for you. The interactive demo animates a number you type and nothing more. In the app, you choose your own goal: the app doesn't ask your weight or choose a number for you, and any published reference figures it shows are general information, not a recommendation that you consume that amount. Where the site does arithmetic — the unit converter in our article on published protein reference values — it multiplies a weight you enter by reference values published by third parties, shows every published figure side by side rather than selecting one, and applies no formula, goal, or judgement of our own. Converting a published figure into your units is not a recommendation that you consume it.
The site and the app are published by WristSkill Labs, LLC, a software company. They are consumer software and general-interest writing — not the practice of medicine, nutrition, dietetics, occupational therapy, or any other licensed profession.
Using the site or the app does not create any professional relationship with you. No clinician–patient, therapist–patient, dietitian–client, or provider–patient relationship is formed, and nothing here is a professional opinion about you, your health, or your circumstances. We do not know who you are, we do not evaluate you, and we cannot account for anything specific to your health.
Members of WristSkill Labs, LLC hold professional licenses and credentials in fields unrelated to nutrition. Those credentials are not exercised through, and do not stand behind, this site, this app, or anything on them. No licensed professional is acting in a professional capacity in this content, and no part of it should be read as carrying professional authority, endorsement, or clinical judgement. Any credential described elsewhere on wristskill.com belongs to separate work and has no bearing here.
The content on these pages is written and published in the company’s name for that reason. Where we report a published reference value, we are reporting what a third party published — we are not adopting it, prescribing it, or vouching for its fit to you.
