How do I add my family?
- Open Shower Tally.
- Tap Create a family on the welcome screen.
- Give your family a name (for example "The Johnson Family").
- Add each person with a name and an emoji.
- You'll get an 8-character household code made of letters and numbers.
- Share that code with anyone in the family who wants to use the app on their own phone.
People without a phone (like young kids) don't need the app. Anyone who has it can tap to log a shower for them.
How do I join a family?
- Open Shower Tally.
- Tap Join with a code. In version 1.1.4 or later, the app first asks what year you were born (once per phone).
- Enter the household code.
- Pick your name from the list, or add yourself.
- Done. You're now part of the family on this phone.
Why isn't my streak counting?
A streak counts showers in a row that were on time. "On time" means within your shower schedule (3 days by default; Pro lets you pick 1, 2, 3 or 5 days per person). If you go past your schedule, the streak resets, unless you've earned a grace day (version 1.1.4 or later): 7 on-time showers in a row save one missed day.
